Why does the Com-Server configuration menu not appear for a Telnet connection?

The Com-Server configuration menu is only available through TCP Port 1111. If the connection is established from the Telnet client without expressly specifying Port number 1111, the standard
Telnet Port 23 is assumed. Under Windows the Com-Server configuration is most quickly run from
“Start > Run…” using command line telnet [IP address] 1111.
