FTP(S), SFTP/SCP and Samba servers for the DIN rail

The data.station offers the functionality of an FTP(S), an SFTP / SCP and a Samba server in a compact design for the DIN rail. Use these ways to access the internal memory or a storage medium connected via USB. The two network interfaces also allow access from different networks, e.g. for separating the machine and OT networks. The extensive user management and the individually configurable access options for each interface enable the perfect match to your application.

Example application

Do you have several web thermometers (e.g. web thermo-hygrobarometers) in a machine network and would like to archive their measured values centrally? To do this, set the thermometers to regularly send the current measured values via FTP. As an FTP server, configure your data.station. This allows you to create central measurement data archives in the internal memory of the data.station, or on a connected USB memory. Via the second network interface of the data.station, you can access the stored measurement data from another network, but not to the web thermometers. The access paths can be set individually for each interface. This allows less secure FTP communication in the machine network and enables secure access to data from the OT network, e.g. via SMBv3.
