ThermoGuard is a system for automatic, seamless and central temperature monitoring via a computer network. Typical applications are air-conditioned server rooms, refrigerators and freezers, environmental chambers and incubators. Thermo Guard is comprised of intelligent sensor controllers with network interface, temperature sensors connected to it and the Thermo-Guard software.

The Thermo-Guard software asks all temperature sensors regularly over the computer network. When deviations from the prescribed limits, the software alerted acoustic, optical, and sends e-mails to the organizers. The acoustic playback of recorded instructions for the staff is just as possible as the transmission of alarms via SMS on mobile phones for a 7 x 24 hours surveillance.

Even the failure of a sensor or the associated controller is registered by the central software and optionally triggers off an alarm. Accounting for conventional data loggers needed battery replacement.

The software stores the temperature data for each sensor in a separate file from the possible local or server-based processing. All actions of the system and any change to the system are traceable logged in a detailed log file. FDA Compliance in accordance with CFR 21 Part 11 (Electronic Records and Electronic Signature), with additional software or as Cyberlab ® NuGenesis ®.

A QM-compliant Standard Operating Procedure (Standard Operating Procedure, SOP) and a form to record actions in the event of an alarm site are included. The temperature sensors can be supplied with calibration certificate.
