The SIP ring switch is integrated into the existing IP telephone system or FritzBox like an IP telephone. By calling the assigned telephone number or extension, switching operations can then be triggered, for example to operate door openers, barriers, roller shutters, lighting systems or to trigger an e-mail alarm or an additional bell (“petrol station alarm clock”). Thanks to Voice-over-IP, the SIP Ring Switch can be integrated into the local network at any point – without the usual cabling effort for comparable solutions.
Four separate switching channels are available. Via the web interface of the device, it can be determined which action should be triggered by an incoming call: For example, an output can be switched on during the call – for the duration of the call or to be switched off again by dialing a second phone number (or the web interface of the device). By calling, a change of the respective switching state of the output can also be caused. Up to 30 actions can be configured per device.
