Background information:

Frequently W&T Web-IOs are used in large numbers at a central location. In these applications, a common power supply of the devices makes the application much clearer than would be the case for an individual supply of the devices with individual power supplies. If there is no 24V supply in the installation, this task can be elegantly and inexpensively solved with the 15W DIN rail power supply 11080, with which several 24V devices can be centrally supplied with energy. Of course, the power supply can also be used where, in addition to the 24V supply for the Web-IO module, additional power is needed to supply the rest of the installation. In this case, you only have to make sure that the total power taken does not exceed the performance of the DIN rail power supply unit.
