The IP wall mount enclosure is ideal for outdoor use or in spaces which are especially subject to moisture and/or dust. The special form factor makes it usable for W&T devices in the DIN rail housing.

Background information:

Installing devices outdoors or in rooms with humidity and/or dust requires the use of additional protective enclosures, since these protect the electronics from environmental effects.

The polycarbonate enclosure is provided with a pre-installed 35mm support rail. The cable glands are available as separate accessories, since each application will have different requirements. Note that a cable gland is available which allows a network cable to be inserted into the housing without field-assembly of the RJ45 connector.

The unusual installation height of the enclosure with a dimension of 180mm also makes it easy to install serial W&T devices with threaded-on SUB-D connectors.
