Protect your USB equipment from unwanted circulating currents
USB ports for desktop computers have virtually no insulation from the USB interface from another connected computer’s hardware.
USB devices without ground reference level does not normally cause problems, but should be USB devices with separate ground galvanically isolated.
This galvanic protection to prevent noise from unwanted circulating currents that can interfere and cause errors in data transmission and, in extreme cases, destroy expensive equipment.
This galvanic protection can easily be achieved by inserting the new W&T USB isolator on the existing cable to the USB device. No additional software or drivers.
This small compact USB-Isolator is universal because it also can provide USB devices with power and can be operated at several speeds.
