USB Camera over the Nets
– The installation of a PC within range of the permissible USB cable length is not possible
– The camera images are to be displayed flexibility of different jobs as needed
– The performing or further processing programs sometimes run on virtualized systems
The solution
On site, a USB Isochronous server is installed in a suitable enclosure IP66 wall, which connects the camera to the network. The software installed on the computers eligible USB redirection ensures that camera is available, as they were locally connected.
New firmware
The new firmware and USB redirection of W & T USB Isochronous server also allows the integration of any network USB cameras.
Cameras with USB port
Thermal imaging cameras, microscope cameras and other specialized cameras are often available only with a USB port. If these image sources still operate in virtual computing environments or even from a far distance away, the W&T USB Isochronous server is the solution.
Wiesemann & Theis develop the solution
Can you tell your USB camera that you e.g. per second only need a HD image?
The next firmware / Reversal generation for the W&T USB server includes an isochronous bandwidth management, which allows the retrieved from the USB camera frame rate and thus the network-side bandwidth consumption as specifically control in conjunction with VPN connections.
Testing today
To give you an opportunity to test the functionality of your camera to the USB isochronous server immediately, we have extended the period for test positions to the availability of bandwidth management (to a maximum of 3 months). Just reply to this email with your address and request a test device.
