Ventilate properly – follow the time setting

Fresh air is healthy. Wherever there are many people in a room, fresh air is important.
It can be in the classroom, in the day care center, in the sports hall or in the meeting room.

Therefore, the following advice applies indoors: Ventilate properly! It’s always good for us – and especially in the pandemic.

Timeair Clears Your Mind

In a well-ventilated room, it is easier for us to be awake, focused and attentive. At the same time, ventilation helps protect against diseases transmitted by aerosols.

A valuable contribution to health protection and an important building block for your hygiene concept

Timeair Makes It Possible To Schedule
Meetings In Rooms

Most events follow a fixed structure. With the schedule, the teachers, educators or leaders know how much time is left before the room needs to be ventilated again.

In this way, interruptions can be planned and integrated sensibly into the activity.

Timeair Makes It Easy For You

The time until the next ventilation is shown in the time display. And a bright circle of green LEDs also shows them in 5-minute steps.

A look at the schedule is enough – and gives everyone in the room orientation and security for a good indoor climate.

timeair: accurate measurement, timely ventilation, fresh room air

CO2 Content As An Indicator Of Air Quality

With each breath, we provide CO2 and aerosols from our ambient air. The more people gather in a room, the faster the CO2 content increases and in parallel with the potential virus load. Since CO2 can be measured accurately in a room and the content of the aerosol content is correlated with it, which helps CO2 measurement also to estimate the aerosol concentration in the air. The CO2 measurement is an appropriate indicator of the quality of the room air. If a certain value is exceeded, it means: Ventilate!

Real CO2 Measurement And Time Prediction For Air Exchange

Outdoors has a CO2 content of approx. 400 ppm (parts per Million). For indoor use, the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) – with reference to the Federal Environmental Agency – recommends a limit value of 1,000 ppm. The value is affected by several factors. These include:

Initial Air Quality

Room Size

Number Of People In The Room

Activity Type Between People

Duration Of Stay In The Room

Using the accurate non-scattered infrared method (NDIR), Timeair measures the CO2 content of the air every 10 seconds. On this basis, it predicts the development of CO2 concentration in the ambient air and calculates the remaining time until the defined limit is reached. Environmental conditions change – when people enter the room or leave it because they start singing or because a window is closed – so the measured CO2 values change continuously and a new forecast is formed. The device adjusts its time information accordingly.

A Cheap Investment For A Better Indoor Climate.
