Intelligent sensors with network connection instead ensure reliable, person-independent, continuous, automatic monitoring. A central computer program monitors the measured values online and ensures a 7x24h alarm.

Thermoguard is a system for automatic, gapless and central temperature monitoring over a computer network. Typical applications are air-conditioned rooms for servers, refrigerators and freezers, climatic chambers or incubators. Thermoguard consists of intelligent sensor controllers with network connection, connected temperature sensors and the Thermoguard software.

The Thermoguard software regularly polls all temperature sensors over the computer network. In the event of deviations from the specified limits, the software alerts acoustically, visually and sends emails to those responsible. The acoustic reproduction of recorded instructions for the staff is possible as well as the transmission of alarms via SMS to mobile phones for a 7 x 24 hours surveillance.

Even the failure of a sensor or the associated controller is registered by the central software and triggers an optional alarm. The battery changes necessary with conventional data loggers are eliminated.

The software stores the temperature data for each sensor in a separate file locally or server-based for possible further processing. All actions of the system and any changes to the system configuration are logically traced in a detailed log file. FDA compliance according to CFR 21 Part 11 (Electronic Records and Electronic Signature) is possible with additional software such as Cyberlab® or Nugenesis®.

A QM-compliant standard operating procedure (SOP) as well as a form for recording measures in the event of an alarm are included in the delivery. The temperature sensors can be delivered with a calibration certificate.
